Overshirt

A front panel built from fabric shards, joined by fagoting, and made to come off. Detach it and the overshirt simplifies — fewer parts, plainer front, built for days that call for less. Left on, the panel's curved rust-protected steel buttons carry the shard motif down the front.

100% cotton with a wrinkled finish, draped and oversized. Funnel neck, raw edges at the sleeve, hem, and collar. Back tabs cinch the waist; buttons adjust the sleeve width. Front placket buttons are hidden.
